In the 3rd match minute, De Zurda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Seber to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Calvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Macario Uribizalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Ubarna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Firmo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Carolina's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Fernendo came free, but Victorio Ubarna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Carolina getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ezequiel Pelagius hit a great ball. Victorio Fernendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Firmo was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Calvet during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carolina's Ramiro Calvet got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd minute, Apolo Quirce fired a really elegant long shot, but Victorio Ubarna threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Flavio Sugar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Macario Uribizalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
