After 30 played minutes Norumbega got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Galeno. Everardo Magdaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Dabi in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Mauro Dabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Americo Lawrence's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Magdaleno was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.
