In the 2nd match minute, Chapanay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Medardo to maneuver through the defense. Leon Lertxun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A hard shot 16 in the game by Gervasio Cordarell from a close distance when the talented Leon Lertxun managed to make a qualified save. Godoy FC's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Leoiar in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Lertxun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Aritza in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Chapanay's Gervasio Cordarell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Lertxun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Humberto Vidal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Cheche. Chapanay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute, Fabricio Acosta made a precise shot to the right of Julio Cheche. Chapanay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a little luck, Godoy FC's Leon Lertxun got control of the ball when Fabian Duset tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Chapanay's Gervasio Cordarell made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Lertxun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marciano Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Leon Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Lertxun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gervasio Cordarell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 39 minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Marciano Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapanay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Leoiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chapanay's Julio Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Aritza in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Cordarell was the one to do the kick off. Leon Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 54 minutes, Gervasio Cordarell made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Godoy FC's Leon Lertxun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 89 minutes, Amadeo Mikeldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godoy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Mikeldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Godoy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Leoiar came free, but Leon Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Fabian Duset made a precise shot to the right of Leon Lertxun. Godoy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chapanay had played much better football throughout.
