Astor Inge scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Primo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MALGANI SC's Genaro Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Abadia in the 16th minute of play. Genaro Egoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Roque Abadia fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copa Copero's protests and gave Roque Abadia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Copa Copero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Egoitz having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Timoteo Ponciano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Genaro Egoitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of MALGANI SC booed when Copa Copero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Bero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Ponciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Genaro Egoitz made a huge save. The corner ended in Eustaquio Azibar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MALGANI SC's Genaro Egoitz did a great save. In the 62ndth minute of the game Timoteo Ponciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MALGANI SC's Genaro Egoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Egoitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timoteo Ponciano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 66 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Ponciano in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Egoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustaquio Azibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Egoitz having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Copa Copero players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
