Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes, Clodoveo Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pelayo and the Gisela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clodoveo Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Carlos Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Maximo Cordearo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Quintana. Pelayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Cordearo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Bide during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Pelayo got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Bide. 22 minutes into the match, Pelayo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Eron came free, but Tomás Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Ebardo lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 25th minute, one of Pelayo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pelayo. The referee gave Gisela a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Iztal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pelayo's Tomás Quintana. 2-0. Carlos Bide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Pelayo's Benicio Pagomari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Fonda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Eron in the 39th minute of play forced Pelayo's goalkeeper Tomás Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gisela's zone, Gervasio Romildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Fonda came out of the goal and Gervasio Romildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Pelayo's Gervasio Romildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Fonda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Marcos Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gisela's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Quintana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Romildo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Gervasio Romildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Fonda. Gisela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Romildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Domingos Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Fonda having to interfere. If Gervasio Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaspar Henry's late challenge caught a Pelayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Henry helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Gaspar Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Marcos Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Eron in the 86th minute of play forced Pelayo's goalkeeper Tomás Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Cordearo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tomás Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gisela. If Carlos Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gisela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pelayo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
