After 23 played minutes, Mulcahy FC's Gervasio Gipuzkoa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Mateo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mulcahy FC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Vasco in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Mateo saved Epicúreos del Jardín from getting behind. Faustino Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Mateo having to interfere. Elvio Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Faustino Vasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mulcahy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some careless play in the Epicúreos del Jardín defense, Faustino Vasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Mateo. The Epicúreos del Jardín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Mateo should have stopped the shot. Igor Polo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Abel Ieltxu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Epicúreos del Jardín's Daniel Mateo didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 78th minute of the match Dante Chaime sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Alfonso skillfully saved the ball. After 78 played minutes Mulcahy FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Sidro. Elvio Sidro charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
