Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amador Leheren made the kick off which started today's match. Pablo Gaztea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Leheren's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. If Sixto Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Desiderio Mattin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Epicúreos del Jardín's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Mattin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Gaztea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Tanio in the 10th minute of play. Pablo Gaztea made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Santo Lawrence sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Bernard lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Epicúreos del Jardín! Edgardo Egoi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Dante Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Edgardo Egoi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Epicúreos del Jardín's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Felo came free, but Daniel Mateo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epicúreos del Jardín's Daniel Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Nofre in the 31st minute of play. Daniel Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Tanio in the 34th minute of the match. Sixto Felo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniel Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Felo in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Epicúreos del Jardín's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Tanio came free, but Daniel Mateo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Santo Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Mateo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Tanio's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Felo to make the kick off. If Teodosio Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Felo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Tanio got free with Daniel Mateo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 minutes of play, Club Atletico River Plate's Teodosio Tanio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Mateo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Felo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Mateo saved Epicúreos del Jardín from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Felo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Mateo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Felo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 73 minutes, Teodosio Tanio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Tanio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Club Atletico River Plate booed when Epicúreos del Jardín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Edgardo Egoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Mateo skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Epicúreos del Jardín's Santo Lawrence got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 90th match minute, Epicúreos del Jardín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Lawrence to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Felo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Daniel Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Club Atletico River Plate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Epicúreos del Jardín throughout the match.
