After a defensive mix-up in ZORZAL's zone, Amadeo Mancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Sazon came out of the goal and Amadeo Mancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Quebrachos booed when ZORZAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Maurino in the 6th minute of play. Natalio Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Dante Matthew acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Domingo Jayvier. The supporters of ZORZAL booed when Quebrachos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Mancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Piearres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dante Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Piearres in the 28th minute of play forced Quebrachos's goalkeeper Dante Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ZORZAL getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Prospero Ezkerra hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Maurino in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Sazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL's Marcial Lluterio got a free kick in the 44th minute. Romeo Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Mancio in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Romeo Sazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Victoriano Guipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZORZAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebrachos the free kick. Victoriano Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Leopoldo Hibai managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. A collision led to Quebrachos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Leonel Bento hit a great ball. Marcial Lluterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes Quebrachos got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Hibai. If Fidel Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Mancio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Romeo Sazon made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Maurino in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Sazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iker Beat charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Beat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Larra kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ceferino Claris took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeo Sazon. ZORZAL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th minute, Marcial Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quebrachos's Amadeo Mancio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Mancios short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Romeo Sazon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 83 minutes of play ZORZAL's Marcial Lluterio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 83rd minute, Marcial Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Romeo Sazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Mancio in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romeo Sazon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Mancio got free with Romeo Sazon in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
