Gilberto Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Vigil in the 7th minute of the match. Santo Laurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Oton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Santo Laurin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Oton having to make a save. Santo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barborín FC's Benigno Oton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Laurin in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Armando Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Arturo Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mencué's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Teofilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Oton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benigno Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Arturo Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mencué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Teofilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barborín FC's zone, Santo Laurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Oton came out of the goal and Santo Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Teofilio in the 55th minute of play forced Barborín FC's goalkeeper Benigno Oton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mencué's Lucio Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 74th minute. Gilberto Sidro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rolando Vimaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 90thth minute of the game Santo Laurin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barborín FC's Benigno Oton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Barborín FC booed when Mencué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Barborín FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mencué from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
