Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lanteri's Gonzalo Blasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Eugenio Romero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelo Barrionuevo. The goal made the score 1-0. Eugenio Romero scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Barrionuevo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Hug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Benino's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The supporters of Funebreros booed when Lanteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Gerardo Foro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Lanteri's Gonzalo Blasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Barrionuevo. Angelo Barrionuevo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 20 minutes of play, Lanteri's Eugenio Romero made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Barrionuevo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Funebreros's Angelo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Blasco in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Gerardo Foro put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Laureano Hug. In the 30th minute Dante Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Foro in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Hug saved Lanteri from getting behind. Gonzalo Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Angelo Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Dante Benino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Funebreros booed when Lanteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gerardo Foro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funebreros's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Foro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Hug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Lanteri booed when Funebreros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Eugenio Romero could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Angelo Barrionuevo however easily saved by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Benino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Valiente in the 52nd minute of the match. Angelo Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Blasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Hug made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Mateo Ponce sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute of the match, Gerardo Foro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laureano Hug was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dante Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Hug having to interfere. Eugenio Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Mateo Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Funebreros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Ponce couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gerardo Foro in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laureano Hug, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lanteri's Laureano Hug proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Lanteri from getting a goal against them. Laureano Hug was a little too slow when Gerardo Foro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 4-2. Funebreros were furious when Victorino Suarez was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 83rd minute, one of Funebreros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Funebreros. 88 minutes into the match, Funebreros's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Blasco came free, but Angelo Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Funebreros's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
