Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Funebreros's Dante Benino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Funebreros's Serafin Brais got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Quintan scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Barrionuevo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Gartzi during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Funebreros booed when Tortuguitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Gartzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Funebreros's Dante Benino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dante Benino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Funebreros getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Victorino Suarez hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Igor Bihar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Barrionuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isidoro Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Barrionuevo having to interfere. Adolfo Quintan took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Barrionuevo. Angelo Barrionuevo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Funebreros's Angelo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Quintan in the 30th minute of play. Desiderio Salvatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Benino in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Funebreros's Serafin Brais dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Funebreros's Silvano Terciero got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Serafin Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Funebreros's Mateo Ponce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Salvatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gerardo Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Desiderio Salvatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Benino's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Funebreros's Silvano Terciero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Salvatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Salvatore having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Mateo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Desiderio Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tortuguitas's Desiderio Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Foro in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Funebreros's Dante Benino made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Salvatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerardo Foro struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Desiderio Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funebreros. After some careless play in the Tortuguitas defense, Dante Benino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Salvatore. The Tortuguitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Salvatore should have stopped the shot. Gerardo Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Desiderio Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Salvatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Benino's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Bernardino Garci hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mateo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Desiderio Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Victorino Suarez fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funebreros's protests and gave Victorino Suarez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Victorino Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tortuguitas's Igor Bihar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angelo Barrionuevo but with some difficulty. There was no doubt that Funebreros were the better team. Funebreros's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
