When Bernabe Berriotxoa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Caballito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Berriotxoa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Shepherd in the 6th minute of play forced Caballito FC's goalkeeper Fabian Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Saul Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Aresti hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Caballito FC's Aaron Aresti got a free kick in the 10th minute. Fabian Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Caballito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Shepherd came free, but Fabian Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Berriotxoa's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes Caballito FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Aresti. In the 23rd minute, Gilberto Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Abeita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute Gilberto Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caballito FC's Fabian Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Nastasio in the 28th minute of play. Guerrero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Aquilino Clodio scored to the left of an out of position Domingo Furtado, making the score, 1-1. Fabian Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caballito FC's Aquilino Clodio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquilino Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Gartzen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingo Furtado. Guerrero's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aquilino Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Domingo Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Fabian Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Bernabe Berriotxoa made the kick off in the second half. Guerrero's Gilberto Shepherd suffered a sore foot after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Wilfredo Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
