When Damian Lapurdi fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viento FC's protests and gave Damian Lapurdi a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Reynaldo Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central Ferroviario's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Osmundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Librado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynaldo Osmundo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Faustino Librado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Gică Floruțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Joel Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Central Ferroviario defense, Gică Floruțiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alonzo Isauro. The Central Ferroviario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alonzo Isauro should have stopped the shot. If Reynaldo Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Osmundo in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Viento FC's Conrado Gustau got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gică Floruțiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Isauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gică Floruțiu's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Osmundo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Viento FC's Faustino Librado. Faustino Librado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58thth minute of the game Reynaldo Osmundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viento FC's Faustino Librado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Gică Floruțiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reynaldo Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Bazkoare hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes of play, Central Ferroviario's Reynaldo Osmundo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Librado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Isauro having to interfere. Alonzo Isauro made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gică Floruțiu sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute of the match Viento FC got a corner. Central Ferroviario's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gică Floruțiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Viento FC's Domingo Maldonado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alonzo Isauro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alonzo Isauro made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gică Floruțiu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Central Ferroviario's Reynaldo Osmundo got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Central Ferroviario fans cheered their team off the field, for while Viento FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
