The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Grabiel during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Benicio Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca's Leopoldo Cibran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Boca from getting a goal against them. Boca's Leopoldo Cibran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Lapurdi in the 71st minute of play. Roberto Silvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Azevedo in the 76th minute of play. Roberto Silvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Boca booed when Samuhú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Samuhú left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boca.
