Vicente Johans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gasoducto. In the 8th minute Edelmiro Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, piratacordobes's Eustaquio Sedeni made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Terciero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Sedeni in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Terciero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Israel Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vicente Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes piratacordobes got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Oliviero. After having played for 32 minutes, Prudencio Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasoducto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Joey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Israel Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Sedeni in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Terciero saved Gasoducto from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Norberto Bertol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gasoducto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave piratacordobes the free kick. The supporters of piratacordobes booed when Gasoducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Bertol was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 47th minute Israel Frechoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Sedeni in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Eustaquio Sedeni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Romeo Terciero made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gasoducto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, piratacordobes's Joel Bonifaco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Romeo Terciero. Israel Frechoso struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. The piratacordobes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
