Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nestor Eneas got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes Benítez got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Luke. After a defensive mix-up in Benítez's zone, Adan Ledesma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Veremundo came out of the goal and Adan Ledesma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Txomin's late challenge caught a Douglas Haig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Txomin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Benítez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Txomin to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Benítez got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Luke. Adan Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Veremundo having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Benítez! Adan Ledesma shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 32nd minute, Eugenio Marz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adan Ledesma was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 36th play minute Adan Ledesma came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Veremundo. 3-0. In the 41stth minute of the game Adan Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benítez's Joaquin Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Nofre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Veremundo. Benítez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Benítez defense, Adan Ledesma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Veremundo. The Benítez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Veremundo should have stopped the shot. Adan Ledesma in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Veremundo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Joaquin Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Marz in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Eugenio Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douglas Haig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Marz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adan Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Adan Ledesma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Veremundo. Benítez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Ledesma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Inocencio Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute, Adan Ledesma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Veremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 71st minute, Adan Ledesma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eugenio Marz came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Douglas Haig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Marz couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Veremundo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Douglas Haig's Adan Ledesma. But to his dismay, Adan Ledesma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Joaquin Veremundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Ledesma's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Pastor Sanson made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Douglas Haig's Arsenio Raebert. Adan Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Ledesma in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Ledesma in the 92nd minute of play forced Benítez's goalkeeper Joaquin Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Eugenio Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Douglas Haig's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Marz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Veremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Benítez getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alvaro Luke hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Douglas Haig players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
