A wasted opportunity for Villa Mitre City. 15 minutes into the match, Olascoaga's goalkeeper Miguel Jayvier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Argi. Miguel Jayvier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ermegildo Inautzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 16 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Ezkerra during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Villa Mitre City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Mendebal should have stopped the shot. Miguel Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Inautzi in the 33rd minute of the match. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Socorro to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Olascoaga's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Colas came free, but Miguel Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Olascoaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Inautzi in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Jayvier saved Olascoaga from getting behind. The referee ignored Villa Mitre City's protests and gave Ermegildo Inautzi a yellow card for diving instead. Ermegildo Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Olascoaga's Rosendo Socorro in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
