Gutenberg AFC's Alvaro Macias couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Morenillo. Nicolas Paio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Morenillo's Leandro Martino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 21st minute Mauro Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Ildefonso Honesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bela Torcida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Medina in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Paio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Martino took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Paio. Nicolas Paio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 41st minute, Alfredo Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Quentin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolas Paio. Gutenberg AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 43 played minutes Gutenberg AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Reyes. Camilo Etxekopar charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Etxekopar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Morenillo booed when Gutenberg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Etxekopar didn't get a good kick on the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the last second Nicolas Paio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leandro Martino in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Morenillo's Bela Torcida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Manilan in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Camilo Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gutenberg AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bela Torcida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes Morenillo got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Basualdo. Nicolas Paio made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mauro Medina sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Paio having to interfere.
