Andres Lon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Fernandes in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pech a pedazos's Cesar Lia got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Ariel Pere sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andres Lon skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Martin Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Brillanté's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Rodolfo Txaran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Brillanté fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Martin Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Urbano Totakoxe fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pech a pedazos's protests and gave Urbano Totakoxe a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Pech a pedazos got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Totakoxe. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dante Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pech a pedazos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Bertin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Mel during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Silvestre Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dante Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Arce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Bertin in the 34th minute. In the 38th match minute, Pech a pedazos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Belarmo to maneuver through the defense. When Rodolfo Txaran came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Club Atletico Brillanté fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Txaran couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Txaran struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Andres Lon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Brillanté. In the 43rd minute Martin Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Nicasio Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Arce having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Oxel to make the kick off. Andres Lon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
