Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Rodriguez got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Gil getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Delmar Amato hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Angel Fortun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Lluciano during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernabe Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Bernabe Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Angel Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anchorena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Fortun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Anchorena's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Lluciano came free, but Augustinas Zubauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Azevedos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Bernardino Conrao to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Mario Haitz put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Gil a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernando Frascuelo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Anchorena's Augustinas Zubauskas. 0-1. Anchorena's Augustinas Zubauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Lucado in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Anastasio Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anchorena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Urbez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anchorena's zone, Samuel Rodriguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustinas Zubauskas came out of the goal and Samuel Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes of play, Gil's Samuel Rodriguez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augustinas Zubauskas was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Samuel Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustinas Zubauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Lluciano got free with Augustinas Zubauskas in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augustinas Zubauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Rodriguez in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Anchorena's goalkeeper Augustinas Zubauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Lluciano. 66 minutes into the match, Honorio Lluciano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Anchorena's Augustinas Zubauskas. Augustinas Zubauskas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Gil's Paulo Lop got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Azevedo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Conrao saved Gil from getting behind. Augustinas Zubauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Rodriguez in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Honorio Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Gil's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Azevedo came free, but Bernardino Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Augustinas Zubauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Rodriguez in the 91st minute of play forced Anchorena's goalkeeper Augustinas Zubauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernabe Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gil walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
