Amadeo Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Javiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Calisto got free with Joaquin Mantzio in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Islas's Lázaro Mitxel tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joaquin Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Ovando in the 29th minute of the match. Rodrigo Calisto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Joaquin Mantzio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Rodrigo Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Damaso Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Virgilio Odol came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Macedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Odol couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Rodrigo Calisto made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Mantzio. Macedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marcial Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Islas reached it. 80 minutes in the game, Isaac Ovando dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Islas's Rodrigo Calisto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Mantzio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Isaac Ovando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Odol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Ihintza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Gaston Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Amadeo Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Ovando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
