In the 11th minute of the match, Serafino Lobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 杜轩延 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 杜轩延 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Fertus in the 19th minute of play. Godfredo Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Haitz having to interfere. 杜轩延 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Fertus in the 23rd minute of the match. If Godfredo Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Alex Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Garaile, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Serafino Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 杜轩延 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Sportivo Maipú's Serafino Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Iigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Leo Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fausto Haitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Garaile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 杜轩延 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Leo Iigo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Sportivo Maipú's Fausto Haitz. Fausto Haitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute Geronimo Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 杜轩延 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Geronimo Ofelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avai FC's 杜轩延 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Ofelio in the 73rd minute of play forced Avai FC's goalkeeper 杜轩延 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 杜轩延 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Ofelio in the 76th minute of play. Leo Iigo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fausto Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avai FC. Jonas Ereinotz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Ladislao Corderro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Corderro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Geronimo Ofelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 杜轩延. Avai FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Ofelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 85 minutes, Danilo Gartzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Sportivo Maipú and the Avai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Avai FC booed when Club Sportivo Maipú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Geronimo Ofelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Maipú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 90th minute Geronimo Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 杜轩延 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, one of Club Sportivo Maipú:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Avai FC's Esteban Froila got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fausto Haitz. The Avai FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Sportivo Maipú from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
