After a rather tough play, Nueva Chicago's Eustacio Lekubegi got a free kick in the 6th minute. Angelo Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tandil AFC's Gualterio Birila suffered a concussion after 20 minutes and had to leave the field. When Jesus Urtsua fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Chicago's protests and gave Jesus Urtsua a yellow card for diving instead. Tandil AFC made a substitution. Nereo Eduino replaced Gualterio Birila. In the 22nd minute, Jesus Urtsua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Jatsu was a little too slow when Nereo Eduino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Tandil AFC booed when Nueva Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Urtsua didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 33rd minute of the match Jesus Urtsua completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jesus Urtsua a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 33rd match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Urtsua to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Bernabe Niva threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tandil AFC's Fernando Perpinya quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Dantel was the one to do the kick off. Nicasio Miro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Angelo Dantel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nueva Chicago's Candido Jatsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candido Jatsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Gilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Dantel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Nicasio Miro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Candido Jatsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Dantel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Candido Jatsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nueva Chicago's Candido Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Dantel in the 88th minute of play. Candido Jatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Eduino in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Antonio Gilen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tandil AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Tandil AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
