In the 19th match minute, Union Industrial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Ado to maneuver through the defense. Angel-Abel Del Fierro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Dionisio Llin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union Industrial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palomitas the free kick. A collision led to Union Industrial getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dionisio Llin hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Eloy Videl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Muno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gonzalo Muno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel-Abel Del Fierro in the 26th minute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Saturnino Txatxu from a close distance when the talented Gonzalo Muno managed to make a qualified save. Union Industrial's players were relieved. Angel-Abel Del Fierro scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzalo Muno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Hector Goren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Freddy Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Reynardo to make the kick off. Palomitas's Eloy Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Union Industrial's goal looked a bit too open when Angel-Abel Del Fierro came free, but Gonzalo Muno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Francis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Ado's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Freddy Ado sped through Palomitas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norberto Francis. Palomitas's Norberto Francis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Palomitas from getting a goal against them. Gonzalo Muno came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Palomitas's Angel-Abel Del Fierro. But to his dismay, Angel-Abel Del Fierro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Union Industrial getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. When the referee ended the match the Palomitas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
