To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 played minutes Centauro Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Firman. After having played for 23 minutes, Carlos Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centauro Madryn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Artaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Carlos Artaldo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ivan Azevedo. 41 minutes into the match, Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Ramos came free, but Ivan Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Artaldo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Azevedo. Ivan Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Federico Orlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Florian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Salomon to make the kick off. Emilio Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Salomon in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Centauro Madryn! Emilio Florian had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Cristo Foro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Centauro Madryn booed when Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Orlin. If Rolando Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Carlos Artaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Azevedo. Alegre FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Artaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 73rd minute, Patricio Francho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alegre FC's Ivan Azevedo didn't even have to move. If Rolando Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Carlos Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivan Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Azevedo having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Severiano Gervaso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alegre FC's Ivan Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Alegre FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rolando Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centauro Madryn's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Firman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
