The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Abella during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leoni FC booed when Bremen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Ofelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Senin's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Alvaro Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Ofelio having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Alvaro Senin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hilario Ofelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Desiderio Belasko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leoni FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bremen the free kick. In the 24th minute, Desiderio Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bremen defense, Alvaro Senin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Ofelio. The Bremen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Ofelio should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute Isidoro Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

54 minutes into the game, Alvaro Senin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hilario Ofelio. Alvaro Senin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Hilario Ofelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Senin in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Leo Abella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bremen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 73rd minute, Isidoro Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Calisto hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Alvaro Senin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bremen's Hilario Ofelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, one of Bremen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bremen. The referee gave Leoni FC a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celestino Mero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bremen's Hilario Ofelio. 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in Bremen's zone, Matias Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Ofelio came out of the goal and Matias Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Bremen got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Lain. Martin Larra struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Hilario Ofelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leoni FC. Alvaro Senin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 100thth minute, Hilario Ofelio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leoni FC played a much better game than Bremen and deserved their victory. The Bremen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
