Guaraní's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furnarius Rufus the free kick. Patricio Llin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Abelardo Amor fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaraní's protests and gave Abelardo Amor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guaraní getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Abelardo Amor hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, Guaraní was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Segio to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Furnarius Rufus's Cornelio Fliz tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 34 minutes of play, Furnarius Rufus's Hernan Tonio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorio Pero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosendo Cordareo scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorio Pero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Furnarius Rufus booed when Guaraní was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Rodriguez made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Furnarius Rufus's Haroldo Dunixi. The Guaraní players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Furnarius Rufus were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Garin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd match minute, Guaraní was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Llin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Furnarius Rufus's Celedonio Belasko got a free kick in the 64th minute. Artemio Gerazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Garin in the 78th minute of the match. When Rosendo Cordareo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furnarius Rufus's protests and gave Rosendo Cordareo a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Furnarius Rufus got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Cordareo. 1-2 became the score in the 88th minute when Clodoveo Garin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
