The audience was convinced that Benjamin Mero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Martxel was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes Chiyuyoc FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Belasko. 12 minutes into the match, Benjamin Mero notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chiyuyoc FC's Tadeo Martxel. Tadeo Martxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusebio Ixidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Martxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Ixidor ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamin Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Martxel having to interfere. Fernan Ibar's late challenge caught a Luzuriaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Ibar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Luzuriaga FC booed when Chiyuyoc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chiyuyoc FC's Tadeo Martxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Vitin in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes Chiyuyoc FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Candido Vitin who took care of the corner kick. Benjamin Mero struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tadeo Martxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzuriaga FC. If Simone Vergassola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tomás Ursino hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Eusebio Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Martxel having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Eriberto Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simone Vergassola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Ixidor in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Luzuriaga FC booed when Chiyuyoc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Ixidor in the 81st minute of play forced Chiyuyoc FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Martxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Mero in the 82nd minute of play. If Eusebio Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Sidro charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Sidro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Eriberto Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Benjamin Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luzuriaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Mero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Mero in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Martxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Luzuriaga FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Justino Pueblo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simone Vergassola in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Martxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeo Martxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Mero in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Luzuriaga FC fully deserved thier win.
