Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tacuaral AFC's Jeremias Nel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Gamus in the 3rd minute of play forced Tacuaral AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Gai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Rio Cuarto's Fernando Jobo got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tacuaral AFC's zone, Anastasio Maxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Gai came out of the goal and Anastasio Maxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Gai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Gamus in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Atletico Rio Cuarto's Eugenio Gamus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Gai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Jeremias Nel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guido Txilar. Jeremias Nel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Atletico Rio Cuarto's Guido Txilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Nel in the 24th minute of play. Eugenio Gamus took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Gai. Cornelio Gai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tomas Beat kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Eugenio Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Quintana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guido Txilar firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd match minute, Atletico Rio Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Jobo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Quintana got free with Guido Txilar in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guido Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Gai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Maxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Anastasio Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cornelio Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tacuaral AFC's Apolo Marquez got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tacuaral AFC's zone, Anastasio Maxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Gai came out of the goal and Anastasio Maxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Gai having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Eugenio Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Rio Cuarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Gamus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Gamus was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eugenio Gamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Maxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Maxin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Cornelio Gai made a huge save. If Eugenio Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
