Iker Carlomagno hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Dante Johans made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Froilan Eneto sent off a good shot on target. Ramiro Maraman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Johans having to make a save. Froilan Eneto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Johans having to interfere. Froilan Eneto took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Johans. Dante Johans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rucanelo's Dante Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Maraman in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Froilan Eneto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambero AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Eneto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Johans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froilan Eneto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Dante Johans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Rucanelo's Dante Johans got control of the ball when Froilan Eneto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Menendo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Ramiro Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Eneto got free with Dante Johans in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45thth minute of the game Ramiro Maraman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rucanelo's Dante Johans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Eneto took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Johans. Dante Johans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Dante Johans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tambero AC. After 71 minutes, Osvaldo Louis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rucanelo and the Tambero AC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
