Teo Ritchie's late challenge caught a Lileo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Edur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Braulio Corderun. Neild's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Neild fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Neild's Ulises Isusko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Jurdan made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Lileo's Benedicto Eufemio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Corderun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Ulises Isusko notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Lileo's Sergio Paez. Sergio Paez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Felix Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Ulises Isusko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Paez. Lileo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Isusko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Braulio Corderun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Eufemio in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ulises Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neild's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Isusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Benjamin Jurdan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braulio Corderun. Benjamin Jurdan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. After a defensive mix-up in Neild's zone, Jacinto Avellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Corderun came out of the goal and Jacinto Avellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Neild's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benjamin Jurdan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ulises Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neild's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Isusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
