Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lino Beturian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sierra de la Ventana's Titus Bregenzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Regis in the 14th minute of play. Zapryan Lazarov hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Paulo Cayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sierra de la Ventana's Titus Bregenzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jimeno Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Beturian having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Piuquenes FC's Ermegildo Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Jimeno Chabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Beturian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lino Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Titus Bregenzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Fraco in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Fraco to make the kick off. Justo Regis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Sierra de la Ventana's Rigoberto Obano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lino Beturian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sierra de la Ventana reached it. Roberto Naelio's late challenge caught a Los Piuquenes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Naelio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Piuquenes FC booed when Sierra de la Ventana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Peruanton hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Orlando Salvadore in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sierra de la Ventana's Domingo Bazkoare. After 79 minutes of play, Sierra de la Ventana's Benicio Jeraldo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Beturian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigo Intxixu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Jimeno Chabier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
