Albert Ticulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Cristofor having to interfere. Astor Onbera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Basilio Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Tonono's Žigmund Venglarčík nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Cristofor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Albert Ticulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Cristofor. Frontera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Ticulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Astor Onbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Albert Ticulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tonono's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Ticulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Cristofor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Ticulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Basilio Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

51 minutes into the match, Frontera FC's Ariel Maura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovanny Villamizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albert Ticulescu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Emilio Papo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frontera FC's protests and gave Emilio Papo a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Frontera FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Papo. Emilio Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanny Villamizar having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Frontera FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Bittor. Albert Ticulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 75 played minutes Frontera FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Bero. In the 76th play minute Albert Ticulescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Basilio Cristofor. 0-4. In the 80th match minute, Tonono was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Afonso to maneuver through the defense. Albert Ticulescu struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Basilio Cristofor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tonono. Venancio Bittor's late challenge caught a Tonono's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Bittor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tonono booed when Frontera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Frontera FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tonono were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
