After a defensive mix-up in Roma's zone, Armando Ospetsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Sedat Ongul came out of the goal and Armando Ospetsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 minutes, Dario Abancens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roma and the Calchaqui FC II players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Roma got a freekick which was hit by Dario Abancens. In the 8th minute, Bartolo Derwin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Roma's Ahmet Sedat Ongul didn't even have to move. In the 9th match minute, Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Gabino to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Sedat Ongul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Cresconio's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Jimeno Cresconio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Sedat Ongul was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Calchaqui FC II's Robert Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Abeitia in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jimeno Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calchaqui FC II's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Sedat Ongul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Calchaqui FC II's Armando Ospetsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Sedat Ongul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Abeitia in the 28th minute of play forced Calchaqui FC II's goalkeeper Robert Rojas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sixto Baristo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Baristo couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Roma's Sixto Baristo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Rojas. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. In the 39th minute, Sixto Baristo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Sedat Ongul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Cresconio in the 40th minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Calchaqui FC II's Jimeno Cresconio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Sedat Ongul was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Roma's zone, Armando Ospetsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Sedat Ongul came out of the goal and Armando Ospetsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Cresconio to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Cresconio in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Sedat Ongul saved Roma from getting behind. If Jimeno Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Sedat Ongul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Abancens got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 69th match minute, Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Armando Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Sedat Ongul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Ospetsu in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Roma's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Ongul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Ospetsu. Roma's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jimeno Cresconio 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The supporters of Roma booed when Calchaqui FC II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Robert Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcial Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Roma fans jumped to their feet.
