The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Baristo got free with Herminio Montrelle in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcial Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Roma fans jumped to their feet. Rosa AFC's Urbano Natal got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Urbano Natal might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Sedat Ongul. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Natal ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Roma getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Angel Gabino hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Dario Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Ignado in the 64th minute of play forced Roma's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Ongul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Armando Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Rosa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Ignado couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, Florentino Guilabertus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roma the free kick. After 74 played minutes Rosa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Guilabertus. After a rather tough play, Roma's Dario Abancens got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Urbano Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Sixto Baristo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 82 minutes into the match, Rosa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Abeitia came free, but Herminio Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, one of Rosa AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Rosa AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bernardo Chico hit a great ball. When Roma's Marcial Abeitia in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosa AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Sixto Baristo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosa AFC's Herminio Montrelle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urbano Natal struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ahmet Sedat Ongul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosa AFC.
