Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aristides Taurino started the match with the kick off. Bernardino Ermano charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Ermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cholila FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bernardino Ermano hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Cholila FC's Guido Gartzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Sedeni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guido Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Sedeni having to interfere. Melchor Sanchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Sedeni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Melchor Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Luzaide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Taurino's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Fulgencio Karmel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Timoteo Sarracino fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cholila FC's protests and gave Timoteo Sarracino a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Cholila FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Sarracino. After a rather tough play, Cholila FC's Iker Escobar got a free kick in the 29th minute. Aureliano Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Filomeno Luzaide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Gartzi made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Cholila FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aureliano Irrintzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aureliano Irrintzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Filomeno Luzaide made a huge save. Rodolfo Sedeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Filomeno Luzaide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Irrintzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Filomeno Luzaide made a huge save. Melchor Sanchez's late challenge caught a Alcira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alcira FC booed when Cholila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Luzaide came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcira FC's Aureliano Irrintzi. But to his dismay, Aureliano Irrintzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A hard shot 84 in the game by Aureliano Irrintzi from a close distance when the talented Filomeno Luzaide managed to make a qualified save. Cholila FC's players were relieved. Aureliano Irrintzi struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Filomeno Luzaide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcira FC. Edgard Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Filomeno Luzaide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcira FC played a much better game than Cholila FC and deserved their victory. The Cholila FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
