After 10 played minutes Correra FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Matai. Correra FC's Tomás Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Maidana in the 11th minute of play. Tomás Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Gervasio Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Presebal having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nicolas Frances made the kick off in the second half. When Nicolas Frances came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Correra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Frances couldn't finish the play. The Correra FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Correra FC's Nicolas Frances looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victorino Jaunti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Tomás Gombal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Correra FC booed when Vagos Unidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Mogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, one of Correra FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 90 minutes into the game, Dario Abecia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Correra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vagos Unidos FC the free kick. Dario Abecia hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gervasio Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vagos Unidos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Maidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Gombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Vagos Unidos FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
