Honorio Azevedo's late challenge caught a Millo Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Millo Madrid booed when Vagos Unidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erasmo Bide fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millo Madrid's protests and gave Erasmo Bide a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo Bide hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Vagos Unidos FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Juan Calixto hit a great ball. Eloy Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Nazario in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vagos Unidos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorato Nazario was slow to take the kick. During this time Millo Madrid's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Millo Madrid's Arnulfo Barea getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Honorato Nazario hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Apolo Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Millo Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Herensuge. Gervasio Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Stephen having to interfere. Honorio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Nazario in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Presebal saved Vagos Unidos FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Herensuge in the 31st minute of play forced Vagos Unidos FC's goalkeeper Eloy Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Stephen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After having played for 35 minutes, Gervasio Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vagos Unidos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Maidana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Presebal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Honorato Nazario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Presebal was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Calixto was the one to do the kick off. Honorato Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Eloy Presebal made a huge save. 58 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Barea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millo Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vagos Unidos FC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Millo Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Barea to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Maidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apolo Stephen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Calixto went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Honorio Azevedo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Eloy Presebal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Nazario in the 76th minute. Eloy Presebal made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Honorato Nazario sent off a good shot on target. If Gervasio Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Gervasio Maidana notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Millo Madrid's Apolo Stephen. Apolo Stephen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eloy Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Ritchie in the 94th minute of the match. The Vagos Unidos FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
