Ildefonso Norino scored 1-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godofredo Giro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Santos Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Teo Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Etxekopar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Alonzo Herena 16 minutes into the match. Alonzo Herena didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Godofredo Giro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Luzaide couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Herena made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Celestino Quinteros sent off a good shot on target. Alonzo Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Uquía's Reynaldo Aritza got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute, Reynaldo Aritza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Alonzo Herena managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Club Atletico River Plate's Celestino Quinteros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santos Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Uquía's Reynaldo Aritza got a free kick in the 48th minute. Americo Garoa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Etxekopar to strike the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Herena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Uquía's Alonzo Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Quinteros in the 96th minute of play. After 98 minutes of play, Club Atletico River Plate's Santos Etxekopar made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Herena was left in no man's land by his defense there!
