Fabio Pacifico was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Churcal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Teodoro Guipuzkoa charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Guipuzkoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillermo Berenguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Luciano Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guillermo Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Ospetsu got free with Generoso Hernandez in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Pacifico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Hernandez having to make a save. Rocha FC's Generoso Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Pacifico in the 36th minute of play. Gervasio Txaran scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Ferrando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Luciano Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Berenguer in the 51st minute of play. Alejo Ospetsu struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Generoso Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Churcal. 57 minutes into the match, Churcal's goalkeeper Luciano Ferrando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Txaran. Generoso Hernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Ospetsu went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Luciano Ferrando had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Prudencio Cheche's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rocha FC's Generoso Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Pacifico in the 75th minute of play. If Alejo Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Pacifico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gervasio Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Ferrando having to interfere. Rocha FC's Gervasio Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Guillermo Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Churcal got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Lamberto. Churcal's Luciano Ferrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Berenguer in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rocha FC's zone, Fabio Pacifico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Hernandez came out of the goal and Fabio Pacifico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
