He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Josefina reached it. In the 18th minute, Gonzalo Tipi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Rogelio Goito made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Josefina's Santos Tiadoro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rogelio Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Tiadoro was a little too slow when Antonio Gil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to Josefina getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ildefonso Tabby hit a great ball. Rigoberto Pelagius, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Severo Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Montel having to interfere. Enrique Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ismael Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Gil made a kick off. A collision led to Maquito getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bonifacio Belarmo hit a great ball. Enrique Montel was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Ismael Colas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ismael Colas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Ismael Colas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Montel was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Maquito's zone, Gonzalo Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Montel came out of the goal and Gonzalo Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Antonio Gil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maquito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maquito had won after a very even match.
