Melchor Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Lucado having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Norberto Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Lucado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Playo in the 8th minute of play. Lucas Teyo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Eugenio Lucado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bicha. Bicha's Lucas Teyo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Playo in the 13th minute of play forced Atreucó's goalkeeper Eugenio Lucado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bicha's Lucas Teyo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Bernabe Gorka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atreucó and the Bicha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atreucó's Bernabe Gorka got a free kick in the 16th minute. Lucas Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Iliana kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atreucó's goalkeeper Eugenio Lucado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinicio Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benigno Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bicha's zone, Bruno Arnalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Elia came out of the goal and Bruno Arnalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Lucado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Playo in the 59th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Lucas Teyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Lucado. Atreucó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Teyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 72 minutes into the game, Salvador Raebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bicha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atreucó the free kick. A collision led to Bicha getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Salvador Raebert hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Melchor Playo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugenio Lucado. Melchor Playo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elvio Ortle fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atreucó's protests and gave Elvio Ortle a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bicha booed when Atreucó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Bruno Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atreucó's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Arnalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Elia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
