Osvaldo Guillelme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Antonio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Transito in the 22nd minute of play. Osvaldo Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Leopoldo Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Chepe in the 26th minute of the match. Antonio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Viviano in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Racing de Alma FC's Roman Perpinya got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Viviano in the 40th minute of play forced Pancho’s Dream Team's goalkeeper Antonio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Jeremias Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Santos Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing de Alma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Transito was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pancho’s Dream Team's zone, Santos Transito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Arias came out of the goal and Santos Transito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Guillelme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Bilintx in the 56th minute. Jeremias Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Arias having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Bilintx got free with Osvaldo Guillelme in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Santos Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Pancho’s Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Garikoitz. After having played for 78 minutes, Jeremias Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing de Alma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Viviano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Santos Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Racing de Alma FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Guillelme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Bilintx. In the 83rd match minute, Racing de Alma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Perpinya to maneuver through the defense. Santos Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Conrado Etxatxu fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pancho’s Dream Team's protests and gave Conrado Etxatxu a yellow card for diving instead. Conrado Etxatxu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
