In the 10th minute Damaso Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Etxekopar came out of the goal and Flavio Lauaxeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Guillermo Basajaun notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pampichuela's Alberto Etxekopar. Alberto Etxekopar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Etxekopar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Lauaxeta in the 27th minute of the match. Flavio Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Flavio Lauaxeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pampichuela's Alberto Etxekopar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Edgard Hotz's late challenge caught a Sabinistas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Hotz helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Hotz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Sabinistas FC's Genaro Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Hotz in the 92nd minute of play. Sabinistas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
