Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Desmochado FC's Primitivo Galeno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Guzmán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Blasi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Desmochado FC's zone, Americo Iratzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Odilon came out of the goal and Americo Iratzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Guzmán FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Primitivo Galeno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Primitivo Galeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Primitivo Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Vela made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Victorino Gines sent off a good shot on target. After 26 played minutes Desmochado FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Avellaneda. Americo Iratzeder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Odilon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Honorio Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Dei in the 30th minute of the match. Honorio Hug was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Silvestre Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Iratzeder in the 37th minute of play forced Desmochado FC's goalkeeper Honorio Odilon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Victorino Gines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Evelio Vela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Guzmán FC's zone, Victorino Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Vela came out of the goal and Victorino Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Americo Iratzeder made the kick off in the second half. Victorino Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Vela having to interfere. When Victorino Gines came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Desmochado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Gines couldn't finish the play. Evelio Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Karmel hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Evelio Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Galeno in the 73rd minute of the match. Guzmán FC's Evelio Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Galeno in the 78th minute of play. Evelio Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Gines in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Guzmán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Galeno came free, but Evelio Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Americo Iratzeder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorio Odilon. That made the score 2-1 in the 88 minute of play. Lázaro Ler's late challenge caught a Guzmán FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Ler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Desmochado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Ler to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Desmochado FC booed when Guzmán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Blasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Desmochado FC got a corner. Guzmán FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorio Hug ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Guzmán FC's goalie and right to Lázaro Ler. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Guzmán FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
