In the 12th minute, Evaristo Quinteros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Justaway FC's Genaro Loramendi didn't even have to move. After 15 minutes, Anacleto Tabby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Justaway FC and the Barrio Facultad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Tabby kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Barrio Facultad's Genaro Loramendi threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Illart, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victorino Illart was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Genaro Loramendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Illart's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Barrio Facultad got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Iztal. Zbyszko Kiewra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Tabby in the 26th minute of play. When Barrio Facultad's Victorino Illart in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Barrio Facultad's Victorino Illart got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbyszko Kiewra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Frascuelo in the 32nd minute of the match. Dario Piearres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Barrio Facultad's Higinio Claude got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Genaro Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Illart in the 54th minute of play forced Justaway FC's goalkeeper Genaro Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Justaway FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Piearres came free, but Genaro Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Loramendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Illart's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Barrio Facultad's Zbyszko Kiewra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Ponc in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Barrio Facultad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reynaldo Frascuelo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Genaro Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Illart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Loramendi having to interfere. If Reynaldo Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Barrio Facultad booed when Justaway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Victorino Illart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Illart, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Higinio Claude hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
