Bruno Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Cambranes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Ritchie in the 12th minute of play forced Golondrinas Fc's goalkeeper Cosme Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Bizi in the 14th minute of play. In the 30th minute Bruno Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golondrinas Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER the free kick. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Golondrinas Fc! Conrado Barros walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Igor Ritchie, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cosme Cambranes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bruno Osasun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Cosme Cambranes made a huge save. Cosme Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Ritchie in the 72nd minute of play. Cosme Cambranes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Pirro in the 74th minute of the match. Cosme Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Igor Ritchie put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cosme Cambranes. In the 83rd minute, Iker Bizi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golondrinas Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Norberto Napier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Llope. RIVER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Pirro in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Cambranes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RIVER played a much better game than Golondrinas Fc and deserved their victory. The Golondrinas Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
