Samuel Dubardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Johans having to interfere. Ruperto Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 minutes of play, Lobos AFC's Samuel Dubardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Johans was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 18 minutes, Ruperto Lluterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Lluterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Ruperto Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Samuel Dubardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cucullú AFC's goalkeeper Matias Johans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The supporters of Lobos AFC booed when Cucullú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ruperto Lluterio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Lobos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Lluterio couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Cucullú AFC's Matias Johans got control of the ball when Samuel Dubardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Lobos AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cucullú AFC throughout the match.
