When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Hermengildo Cucao put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leon Urdaspal. Esteve Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Leon Urdaspal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Calilegua's Hermengildo Cucao made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Urdaspal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Jonathan Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calilegua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hornos FC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Calilegua got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Faro. Benito Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Mateo in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Los Hornos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Oxarra came free, but Leon Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Txomin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Oxarra in the 40th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteve Oxarra was the one to do the kick off. Leon Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Oxarra in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hornos FC's goalkeeper Leon Urdaspal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Los Hornos FC's Leon Urdaspal got control of the ball when Hermengildo Cucao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Urdaspal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Cucao in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Feliciano Benvido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Mateo in the 88th minute of play forced Calilegua's goalkeeper Benito Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Los Hornos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Calilegua's performance. The match ended with a win for Calilegua.
