An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Frasquito in the 5th minute of play forced Camboyanos's goalkeeper Raimundo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camboyanos's Raimundo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Valentine in the 6th minute of play. Raimundo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Sidro in the 10th minute of the match. Narciso Frasquito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Raimundo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Narciso Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumiñahui's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Janpier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Rumiñahui's Epifanio Bras got control of the ball when Haroldo Magdaleno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modesto Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Epifanio Bras made a huge save. Narciso Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes, Narciso Transito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rumiñahui and the Camboyanos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rumiñahui's Narciso Transito got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Esiquio in the 34th minute of play forced Rumiñahui's goalkeeper Epifanio Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rumiñahui getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vinicio Otsando hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Rumiñahui's goalkeeper Epifanio Bras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Esiquio. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Maurino made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Camboyanos's Clemente Matthew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Bras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Camboyanos's Haroldo Magdaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Epifanio Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Maurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Lázaro Maurino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Bras was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rumiñahui's Narciso Transito got a free kick in the 66th minute. Inocencio Montrell, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paolo Salvator charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Salvator the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Paolo Salvator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Maurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Montrell during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rumiñahui booed when Camboyanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Inocencio Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Bras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Magdaleno in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Esiquio in the 88th minute of play forced Rumiñahui's goalkeeper Epifanio Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Magdaleno's late challenge caught a Rumiñahui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Magdaleno helped the player get up and apologised. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Camboyanos fully deserved thier win.
